About me

Hi, I’m Ronni Smith.

As an integrative emotional clearing practitioner, I guide people through the emotional and energetic terrain of their inner world, locating and clearing unconscious patterns, and reconnecting them to their own innate wisdom to support lasting, positive change.

My work sits at the intersection of psychology, neurobiology and nervous system awareness, myth and the creative, the imaginal realms, shadow integration, and grounded spirituality. I help people move beyond the coping mechanisms they’ve outgrown, so they can get out of survival mode and begin to live from a place of self-trust, emotional awareness, and creative alignment.

As an artist, I weave beauty, meaning and magick through my days—with rituals, connected conversations, contemplative observations, and nourishing relationships. This is the ever-evolving nature and artistry of my life.

Life experience I draw upon

I’ve moved through intense grief, resolving childhood trauma, betrayal and separation from my sons’ father, reconciling chronic autoimmune illness, corporate career changes, creative blocks, spiritual emergence and existential crisis… and emerged with gratitude for the experience as I found the path back home to myself, again and again.

I’ve studied psychology, trained in emotional clearing and The Spiral, taught meditation, breathwork, and nervous system resilience through ice bath workshops. I’m currently completing formal qualifications in counselling and psychotherapy to qualify my skills.

As an artist, my creative work explores many of the same themes I support my clients to move through - inner child work, connection and separation, respect for nature and human nature, trust and betrayal, faith and spirituality, and the stories that shape our lives.

Whether I’m with a client in session or working in the art studio, I’m always deeply attuned, listening to what’s being shared, often without words, from underneath all the noise.

I live near the ocean in Perth, on Noongar Boodjar, where I swim most mornings, and even in Winter you might find me going in for a cold dip! I’ve loved water all my life, even though I grew up in the desert in South Australia. I also love the Perth hills and having been a rock climber through my 20s and 30s, I love a good hike through the bush, sitting on a rock, taking in the majesty of nature.

I’m a mum of two awesome lads who fill our home with 90s rock, guitar solos, intelligent conversations and they’re also quite skilled in the kitchen! I may have hit the jackpot when it comes to kids. I’m almost 20 years into my motherhood journey now. Witnessing them both grow into the young men they are today has been a gift and honour.

Astrology-wise, I’m a Scorpio sun with a Libra moon and rising, within a Libra stellium and for the astrologers out there, it’ll be no surprise I’m drawn to beauty, balance, relationships, intuition, attunement and the deeper psychological layers that shape us. Through the Myer-Briggs lens, I’m a Campaigner ENFP, Wiley’s DiSC workplace profiling sees me as a iS influencing/Steadiness and Human Design puts me in the Projector camp.

These maps and systems can be interesting, and help us to understand ourselves and others, but I prefer to move beyond the labels and believe we are far too multi-dimensional for any one system to define us.

Answering my Calling

For a long time, I felt torn between being an artist and being a helper since both were core to my being from the begining. I studied Occupational Therapy out of high school, then deferred to pursue Interior Architecture. A year spent living and studying in Spain solidified my more spiritual and artistic callings. With my first child arriving soon after my return, putting all study on hold while I spent my 20s immersed in motherhood.

Over the last decade I’ve realised I don’t have to choose just one vocation and my life will always take me on a path where I can hold both art and healing and all that emerges through life and love.

I am a guide, I do not prescribe

I don’t believe in formula-based marketing speak that says, “I did it this way, so I know it’ll work for you too!”

I truly believe we each have our own unique way—one that’s a synthesis of what we’ve been taught, shown, or realised for ourselves—and that sometimes unlearning all of that is part of finding your true path.

Through my art, I hope that something is moved within you, that it invites inquiry or allows you to feel something meaningful that perhaps you didn’t even know was missing.

What I offer through emotional clearing and psychotherapy isn’t a formula or a set method. I draw upon many maps and models to support and guide you on your own unique path with a high level of attunement and presence. Working with me provides an opportunity to access your own insights, evolution and progress towards self-actualisation.

You already hold the answers.

I help you clear what’s in the way.
